Richmond Horse Trials Announces Support of Help for Heroes
Richmond Horse Trials, a British Eventing Affiliated one day event in North Yorkshire, will be raising funds for Phoenix House, Catterick Garrison
Richmond Horse Trials announced that it will be supporting Phoenix House at Catterick Garrison at its British Eventing (BE) affiliated one day events this year.
“We are so happy to be able to raise funds for such a worthy cause,” said Abigail Turnbull, Organiser at Richmond Horse Trials.
Phoenix House is a recovery centre in Catterick Garrison which is accessible to all wounded, injured and sick personnel and their loved ones – whether they are still serving or veterans.
The centre has been specifically designed to create a welcoming, supporting and inspirational atmosphere. It has been purpose-built to give those who have served their country a second chance at life.
Facilities at the centre include classrooms, an IT suite, kitchens, an art room, a wood workshop, a gym with specialist state of the art equipment, health and wellbeing rooms and fully accessible residential areas.
Richmond Horse Trials
Richmond Horse Trials is a biannual BE affiliated one day event based at Richmond Equestrian Centre in North Yorkshire. The events have been running since 2002 but this year is the first year that the new owners of Richmond Equestrian Centre, Andrew and Abigail Turnbull, will be solely taking the reins as Organisers of the events.
Among other things, Richmond Horse Trials will be raising money for Phoenix House by running a tombola at the event. Some fabulous prizes have already been donated and these will be revealed soon. If you would like to donate a tombola prize or enquire about sponsoring the event please email Abigail Turnbull at firstname.lastname@example.org.
