"Brilliant Coaching"
By sharon n. | 19 Apr 2018
Having joined a group clinic followed by a private lesson during March & April, I can honestly say for both Horse & Rider "Detection and Correction" at its best, with an emphasis on making it a friendly and fun atmosphere. Don't miss out on the next clinic!

"Another great clinic"
By Dawn M. | 07 May 2018
I attended another polework clinic with Alison today and once again came away with a big smile. My confidence boosted yet again. A friend from my yard came too who started off very nervous but with Alisons encouragement and excellent teaching skills she ended the session on a real high and cant wait for the next one.

"Pole Work Clinic 24.3.18"
By Kath K. | 02 Apr 2018
Having been a member of the Pony Club for 9 years, I have had many instructors. I have a very 'special' pony who can be difficult at times. Many instructors try to make my pony do, act and perform the same as others in the group, which can be soul destroying. Alison does not want to change my pony, just wants me to get the best out of her and Alison 'gets' my problems in a way many other instructors don't. Alison makes the lessons so much fun while we also learn so much at the same time. I would choose a lesson with Alison any time.....she is just brill. From Brae Kniveton, age 12.

"Polework Clinic Alison Buttery 24.3.18"
By Julia H. | 28 Mar 2018
We were met at the entrance to the arena and invited in to warm up. Alison spoke to us individually to discuss our expectations. The poles from the previous class were altered from straight lines to five poles in a radius with a guiding pole in. We individually walked, trotted and cantered over them in both directions. We had individual guidance, help and encouragement. Alison advised exactly where to place your legs, hands and body etc. She tried to ensure everyone succeeded. This was a well structured, enjoyable and productive experience. Everyone's a winner! Thank you Alison.

"Lessons"
By Hannah W. | 12 Nov 2017
I love having lessons with alison. I have a new horse and hes part standardbred so we have had to teach him how to canter and i can say without the help and advice from alison on how to go about this i dont think we would be seeing the changes in billy that we have done today. He is not the same horse on the flat as when i got him 1yr ago and its all thanks to alisons tips and advice aswell as hard work hes turning into the horse he is. I would recommend alison to anybody she is so friendly and helpful. I wouldnt use anybody else

"Amazing instructor"
By Deb M. | 07 Nov 2017
Alison is a very talented instructor, she gives you a gentle push outside your comfort zone but still makes you feel safe and in control. Lessons are tailor made for my ability and I always finish with a smile on my face. I have learnt so much from Alison, she is the most lovely instructor.

"Flatwork lesson"
By Hannah M. | 29 Oct 2017
Alison is a fantastic instructor, she explains everything in a way that is easy to understand and ensures you know why you are doing it. She was able to identify my mares traits straightaway and worked us through them. I am so pleased with how much we achieved in just one lesson and can’t wait to see how we progress.
